Despite the long-standing U.S. embargo, Huawei continues to show a rising trend and will hold an event on September 19 to showcase its tablets and wearable technology products. The event will feature the Huawei Watch GT 5, and images of the model have been shared.
Huawei Watch GT 5 comes in Two Versions: 41 mm and 46 mm
The Huawei event will also introduce the MatePad 12X tablet and wearable devices like the Watch Fit 4 and Watch D2, alongside the Huawei Watch GT 5. The team Spillssomebeans has shared images of the Watch GT 5, indicating two different options.
The models will come in two sizes: 41 mm and 46 mm. The 41 mm version features a circular design, while the 46 mm model maintains the previous octagonal appearance. The 41 mm version will be available in Jana Blue and Jana Gold, while the 46 mm model will be available only in Black. The source notes that additional color options might be introduced during the promotional event.
The most notable advancement in the model is the new TruSense technology, which allows users to monitor their heart rate, SpO2 (blood oxygen levels), body temperature, and even cardiovascular risks. The 41 mm version will have a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen, while the 46 mm version will feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen.
The model is expected to offer a maximum battery life of between 7 to 14 days. Huawei plans to offer the Watch GT 5 at a starting price of around €250.
